Beam Fixtures

Robe MegaPointe

MegaPointe elevates the original all-in-one fixture to a whole new level. Unleash your creativity using the bright sharp parallel beams, excellent gobo projection, precise movement, smooth CMY color mixing and dimming plus a multitude of beam splitting, wash and shaping effects.

The Robe R&D team worked with Osram to provide a 470W lamp that aligns perfectly with the cutting edge optical system. This design provides a brilliant, crystal clear, razor-edged beam, adjustable from a punchy 1.8 out to a wide 42 degree zoom.

Both static and rotating (glass) gobos produce precision in-air effects or projected images with a sharp, high-contrast, flat field.

The newly designed effects engine can produce 12 varying beam and ‘flower’ effects. The beam can also be shaped using innovative shutter emulation, further creating a whole new blend of content & creativity.

Robe Robin Spiider

Beautiful convergence of hard edge in-air effects, punchy beams and smooth homogenized wash is all encapsulated in the unique Spiider.

Rich colors of 19 powerfull RGBW LEDs can create charming wash light with velvety smooth transitions thanks to internal 18bit LED dimming system.

Dynamic video effects are easily achieved by mapping individual pixels and controlled by DMX desk or media servers via sACN with internal HTP merging, DMX or by Kling-Net protocol.

Unique central piece with Robe exclusive Flower Effect is driven by 60W RGBW LED multichip for new innovative sharp multicoloured spikes of light, rotating in both directions at variable speed, adding another new visual effect to the show.

Martin Mac Viper Quadray

viperQuad

The MAC Viper Quadray is a never-before-seen, multiple-beam effect that adds a whole new dimension to the lighting designer toolbox. Available as an easy-to-install front lens replacement kit for any standard MAC Viper AirFX, the Quadray allows for projection of 1, 2, 3 or 4 individually-controllable rays of light for all-new static or dynamic possibilities in mid-air effects. It includes an efficient effects engine that allows designers to create a whole new variety of looks that would otherwise be hard, or even impossible, to program via a lighting console.

The MAC Viper Quadray houses the same high-quality feature set as the MAC Viper AirFX, including a vibrant color mixing system and stunning aerial effects, and has inherited the same compact form, impressive speed and superior light quality from a 1000-watt lamp.

Robe BMFL Washbeam

bmfl-washbeam-01

The BMFL WashBeam will enhance any show with its large beam produced through wide 180 mm front lens. With custom light source designed for Robe it produces an astounding 300.000 lux at 5 metres! Rotating gobo wheel with carefully selected gobos ensure many combinations of in air animations, but can also produce nice spot-like projections on surfaces. Four fast shutter blades with smooth and precise movement offer individually angled positions within a frame – which itself can rotate through 90 degrees, providing a sharp or soft, precisely repeatable frame for the projected image. Fast movement of the framing system also allows unique in air beam effects. Adding frost fi lters can enhance the projection by adding smooth touches to the beam‘s edge.

Robe Pointe

robePointe

It’s very bright and super-fast with a sharp parallel beam that cuts through the air and across video with ease. It can project a static or rotating glass gobo to produce precision in-air and surface images with an even focal plane. Tight or at full 20 degree zoom, the output is crystal clear and brilliant. Add in either rotating, 6 way linear or 8 way circular, prisms to create wide reaching effects across any set.

Drop in the frost filter and use any of the 13 rich colours to create a smooth even wash. The Pointe has an output far greater in size, quality and power than seems possible from it’s small, lightweight body – due to the efficient short arc 280 W discharge source and the Robe optical configuration. This new technology fixture even travels efficiently in a case of 4 and will cover all your needs – Beam, Spot, Wash, FX – there is no point in using any other fixture.

Varilite VL6000 Beam

vl6000beam

Designed specifically as the market leading mid-air effects fixture, the VL6000 Beam sets a new standard in its class. A large 14” front aperture – using a new exclusive Philips ellipsoid reflector array system – produces a retro style searchlight effect, with a high output tight collimated shaft of light at 6.5.

Its light weight robust construction and stylish compact design, allows the fixture to transport and install easily, while its visual effects offer something truly spectacular for arena applications.

Clay Paky Sharpy

sharpy

Sharpy is a 189W moving beam light with an unprecedented brightness usually achievable only with far greater wattages. Weighing just 16 kg, Sharpy produces a perfectly parallel, laser-like beam with an incredible output of 59,760 lx at 20m (5,100 footcandles at 65 ft). Sharpy is also groundbreaking for the purity of its beam, which is sharply defined and free of any halo or discoloration around the edges. It offers 14 different colors and 17 gobos, allowing you to change the shape of the beam and create an array of spectacular mid-air effects.
With its light weight and modest footprint, Sharpy is small enough to be fitted anywhere – on trusses at live and TV events, on stage, in showrooms or conference rooms.

Sharpy is also available in a shiny mirror-finish chrome version, adding glamour to sets while making lights a less invasive presence.

Reviews

“We never thought we’d see a 190W light that we could use in Wembley Arena.”
2010 PLASA Jury

“This is the type of output normally seen with Xenon fixtures, not sub-200W lamps that could pass as carry-on luggage.”
Patrick Dierson, Live Design, February 2011

Clay Paky Mythos

mythos

Mythos is a highly advanced form of hybrid light: first of all, it is an excellent 470 watt-lamp spotlight, which produces an outstanding large light beam, featuring a zoom that ranges from 4° to 50° (1:12 ratio).

Light beam is sharp, with perfectly defined edges, from the first millimetres after the front lens right along its entire length. The zoom is optimized for focusing, which is separate from that of the fixed and rotating gobos. Its movements are smooth, fast and very quiet. Mythos also features a completely redesigned indexed visual effect disc, which may be superimposed on all the gobos, both in and out of focus.

But Mythos is also an extraordinary beam light, allowing you to switch to a minimum fixed beam angle of just 2.5°. A large, very dense, 160 mm-diameter light beam leaves the Mythos’s front lens and remains parallel for its entire length even at great distances.

Mythos is a very versatile tool, which is useful in any situation and therefore an excellent investment.
