DMX Processor 8000

DP8000

The DMX Processor 8000 adds extraordinary DMX processing capabilities to the Hog line. With no compromise to Flying Pig Systems’ exacting standards, its longevity, quality and innovation are assured to set new standards.

The Hog DMX processor 8000 provides the output power for Hog systems. The Hog Operating System doesn’t limit you to a fixed number of DMX channels – just add as many DMX processor 8000s as needed (along with an Ethernet switch) to supply the specified number of DMX universes for the production or installation.
With an unprecedented amount of computing power, the DMX Processor 8000 manages 16 DMX universes with ease while expanding the power and reliability of the Wholehog control system as a whole. By providing standard XLR, Art-Net, and E1.3.1 (sACN) output at a steady rate, the possibilities for lighting design are truly endless with the DMX Processor 8000.

In tandem with Hog 4OS products, the DMX Processor 8000 now supports timecode input. Up to 8 USB MIDI/LTC widgets can be plugged into the DP8000. Each input is considered an “index” and can be used to bring up to 8 unique timecode clocks into theHog 4OS control system through the DP8000.

MA Lighting 8Port Node

The grandMA3 8Port Node is the largest Ethernet to DMX converter from MA Lighting. Specifically designed to synchronously output 8 DMX universes from any grandMA3 session, the 19”, 1RU housing is suitable for touring and fixed installations.

The grandMA3 8Port Node is also available as PoE variant (Power over Ethernet).

Every grandMA3 xPort Node is designed for the ever-increasing demands in touring and fixed installation applications to build a reliable and stable backbone of synchronized data transportation. All Nodes are remotely configurable from any console or onPC station within the session to provide easy access to DMX output or DMX input.

Furthermore, all grandMA3 xPort Nodes are available as an onPC version to provide parameters for standalone onPC stations (for more details see: grandMA3 onPC solutions).

Every grandMA3 xPort Node is capable of handling MA-Net3, MA-Net2, sACN and Art-Net data and is fully RDM compliant. A 3.9″ color display on the front face allows for simple configuration and provides a quick overview of the status of each Node.

All grandMA3 xPort Nodes are equipped with a powerful processor and a 1 000 Mbit/s Ethernet connection to ensure the most reliable and stable Ethernet to DMX and vice versa conversion.

The grandMA3 xPort Nodes are high quality solutions that can handle busy Ethernet connections without ditching DMX or RDM messages.

It has never been easier to design and maintain stable DMX capable networks.

MA Lighting Processing Unit L

Expanding the grandMA3 system is simple with addition of grandMA3 processing units! The grandMA3 processing unit L expands the system by 8 192 parameters and offers frame-synchronous calculation of the parameters within the MA-Net3 environment. Designed for larger systems, the L model offers a more cost effective and compact solution for parameter expansion. Additionally, the grandMA3 processing unit L offers a Mode2 to expand existing grandMA2 systems by 4 096 parameters.

The grandMA3 processing units are designed for rack mounting and all models are only 2RU, allowing for efficient touring solutions. Each model is equipped with 8 DMX outputs for frame-synchronous DMX output throughout the network. Additional frame-synchronous DMX outputs are available with the addition of grandMA3 xPort Nodes.

grandMA3 processing units offer a perfect system overview on the integrated touchscreen. This easy access to important functions allows for best maintenance if installed in a dedicated rack whilst every function can be monitored from the grandMA3 session.

For larger systems it is suggested to keep the grandMA3 processing units in a centralized position for parameter expansion and to use grandMA3 xPort Nodes to distribute and output the frame-synchronous DMX data.
