HIVE BUMBLE BEE 25-C

Control is the key word in the construction of the 25-C. Hive uses what they call Perfect S.H.O.T controls, which is an umbrella term for complete control and adjustment of every aspect of light output. Part of the success of the system is due to the use of five LED chip blending. Instead of the traditional three colors, Hive uses Red, Amber, Lime, Cyan, and Sapphire for nearly infinite color combinations with a high CRI/TLCI rating of 98 and 97. Color can be adjusted from a very warm amber 1650K to an icy blue 8000K. But control doesn’t stop there. There’s 360-degree hue adjustment around the color wheel as well as 0-100% saturation control. The 25-C can also be dimmed from 0-100%. While of course you can make all of these adjustments manually, you can also make them remotely onboard wired or wireless DMX. There’s also a free Hive ANTENNA App that gives you complete control over Hive’s Omni-Color LEDs. Quickly pick from billions of colors and effects, using RGB sliders, Preset Sources, HSI controls, and more. Lights can be controlled individually or grouped together to create limitless lighting possibilities. Access over 100 preset sources, gels, and effects via smartphone or tablet. Thanks to its 100-240 VAC power supply, the 25-C is ready for worldwide use, but it will also run on optional batteries when mains power is unavailable

HIVE HORNET 200-C

The Hornet 200-C Open Face Omni-Color LED Light from Hive is a versatile 2.6 lb LED light source that measures 9″ in length and 4″ in diameter, making it a great choice for tight spaces with minimal support requirements. The 200-C can accept PAR reflectors. This fixture-only version of the light has a 180-degree beam angle for very wide coverage.

Hudson Spider Redback Head

Developed by cinematographers, gaffers, and grips, the Redback 36″ Octagon Parabolic LED Basic Kit from Hudson Spider is built around a 36″ diameter fixture that can be set up in 5 minutes, broken down to a 12 x 8″ cylinder, and packed in its shock and waterproof rolling travel case. The fixture’s eight hinged aluminum and steel arms can be formed into a parabolic shape with a total of 3456 closely-spaced LEDs that combine to create a soft continuous source. In addition to softness, the Redback has a unique wrap-around quality, snappy contrast, and a crisp specular quality that some have called “magical” while most refer to it simply as a beauty light.

Using the included 90-305 VAC Litegear power supply/dimmer, the Redback has color temperature with a wide range of 2600 to 6500K with a CRI of 95+ – an indicator of superior accuracy in color rendering. It can also be dimmed from 0 to 100% and while you can make these adjustments locally on the fixture, you can also do it remotely via onboard DMX from a console.

For those requiring directional control and softness options this kit also includes a Redback Parabolic Reflector that includes a silver-interior Ultrabounce fitted cover, Magic Cloth diffuser, and full and 1/2 grid cloth diffusers. Also included are an IEC power cord, 24′ header cable, and a 5/8″ Baby pin with 3/8″ threads. It all fits in the kit’s water and shockproof rolling case.

Nanlux Evoke 1200B

Adopting a popular, easy-to-use form factor, the Evoke 1200B LED Bi-Color Spot Light from Nanlux has an expansive variable color range from 2700 to 6500K with high CRI and TLCI ratings or 96 and 97 to leave no doubt that color will be rendered accurately down to the subtlest hue. Portman Hexaline P2

The Portman Lights P2 Hexaline is a 6 x 1 230W Halogen Matrix Luminaire that includes on-board dimming and 6 channels of DMX control.

While complementing the Portman P1, The P2 Hexailine stands on its own. Six beautiful cells are individually controlled in a straight line but there is more to the P2 Hexailine then a straight line. The P2s have hinges after each 2 cells that allow you to angle the fixture in many ways with endless configurations.

The P2 Hexailine can stand vertical in its base plate (included) and have the same pitch when more P2s are lined up next to each other. But raise every other row of P2’s and the Pitch now becomes staggered and matches the pitch of the original P1.

You can also mount multiple P2 Hexilines together via the Female and male connectors on each end of the P2 Hexailine. This allows you to build endless shapes and walls of P2 Hexalines.

Robe picklePATT

Following the series of retro style lighting, the picklePATT is the new cute compact addition to our tungsten classic family.

It is the second fixture, made in collaboration with lighting designer Tim Routledge, which combines traditional aesthetics and modern build quality. The picklePATT is specifically designed to further the current trend for tungsten eye-candy on stage and set – for bands, television, film and general prop lighting, while keeping its vintage looks and utilizing the modern, readily available 575 W HPL lamp. The 575 W tungsten softlight is formed around a 392 mm sleek, spun parabolic aluminium body which maximizes its curves to look as good on stage as the performers it illuminates. The picklePATT proves that lighting fixtures can be more than just a practical neccessity – the luminaires themselves can be a piece of art and create the mood. Robe PATT 2017 LED

Lighting fixtures can be more than a practical necessity – the luminaires themselves can be a piece of art and create the mood. This fixture is based on an idea conceived by lighting designer Tim Routledge. The 7x40W RGBW LEDs powerfully illuminate the seek, spun aluminium body which maximizes its curves to look as good on stage as the performers it illuminates.
