HES Showgun

hesShowgun

Distinctive in design, SHOWGUN 2.5 is, in essence, a very large and powerful automated light that can project images, change and mix dichroic colors, and switch from hard-edge to soft-edge all within a compact system.  This new version of SHOWGUN has 30 percent more photonic output than its predecessor.

SHOWGUN provides entertainment lighting design possibilities in three dimensions: first, in the air with high-energy focused or soft edge beams; second, with images projected on the stage surface; and third, at the SHOWGUN fixture itself by using an innovative LED Tracking System.

A new patent pending optical design is at the forefront of the “radical rethinking.” This optical design incorporates a proprietary, optically accurate polymer microfresnel lens allowing SHOWGUN to produce a true focused hard-edge or a brilliant soft-edge combination, without the need for two separate fixture types. The true focused hard-edge allows SHOWGUN to project HES LithoPattern images, while the soft-edge abilities exceed industry standards. Soft edge/hard edge “enabling” for SHOWGUN is easily accomplished from any lighting console.

SHOWGUN’s main output uses a 2500 watt short arc metal halide lamp designed as a joint venture between Philips and High End Systems. The MSR 2500/2 lamp uses a novel fast fit socket design that allows for a more compact reflector combination. Combining the high-performance lamp, advanced reflector and revolutionary optical design, SHOWGUN must be seen to be fully appreciated.

SHOWGUN’s LED Tracking System forces a double take as a unique homogenously mixed RGB LED circular array that allows the user to either match the color of the main output beam, or to project a complementary color by mixing RGB values. The LED Tracking System alone produces more than 5000 lumens of output, and works in tandem with SHOWGUN’s other features to redefine the rules of lighting design.

SHOWGUN is at the vanguard of today’s lighting design revolution.

HIVE BUMBLE BEE 25-C

Control is the key word in the construction of the 25-C. Hive uses what they call Perfect S.H.O.T controls, which is an umbrella term for complete control and adjustment of every aspect of light output. Part of the success of the system is due to the use of five LED chip blending. Instead of the traditional three colors, Hive uses Red, Amber, Lime, Cyan, and Sapphire for nearly infinite color combinations with a high CRI/TLCI rating of 98 and 97. Color can be adjusted from a very warm amber 1650K to an icy blue 8000K. But control doesn’t stop there. There’s 360-degree hue adjustment around the color wheel as well as 0-100% saturation control. The 25-C can also be dimmed from 0-100%. While of course you can make all of these adjustments manually, you can also make them remotely onboard wired or wireless DMX. There’s also a free Hive ANTENNA App that gives you complete control over Hive’s Omni-Color LEDs. Quickly pick from billions of colors and effects, using RGB sliders, Preset Sources, HSI controls, and more. Lights can be controlled individually or grouped together to create limitless lighting possibilities. Access over 100 preset sources, gels, and effects via smartphone or tablet. Thanks to its 100-240 VAC power supply, the 25-C is ready for worldwide use, but it will also run on optional batteries when mains power is unavailable

HIVE HORNET 200-C

The Hornet 200-C Open Face Omni-Color LED Light from Hive is a versatile 2.6 lb LED light source that measures 9″ in length and 4″ in diameter, making it a great choice for tight spaces with minimal support requirements. The 200-C can accept PAR reflectors. This fixture-only version of the light has a 180-degree beam angle for very wide coverage.

Control is the key word in the construction of the 200-C. Hive uses what they call Perfect S.H.O.T controls which is an umbrella term for complete control and adjustment of every aspect of light output. Part of the success of the system is due to the use of 7 LED-chip blending. Instead of the traditional 3 colors, Hive uses red, amber, lime, cyan, green, blue, and sapphire for nearly infinite color combinations with a high CRI/TLCI rating of 98 and 97. Color can be adjusted from a very warm amber 1650K to an icy blue 8000K. But control doesn’t stop there. There’s 360-degree hue adjustment around the color wheel as well as 0 to 100% saturation control. The 200-C can also be dimmed from 0 to 100%. While you can make all these adjustments manually, you can also make them remotely via your smartphone or onboard wired or wireless DMX. Thanks to its 100 to 240 VAC power supply, the 200-C is ready for worldwide use but it will also run on optional, identical 14.4V batteries in series using a HIVE Y-cable adapter, for situations where when mains power is unavailable.
